I think what gets me is that the most we get out of the Arch Bishop is that it is "embarrassing". What, that you don't know your arse from your elbow, or that you calamitously grassed on yourself? No remorse for the fact that you are financing a commercial loan shark business, just mild annoyance at making yourself look a total twat. I also love the biblical "fight fire with fire" solution to the payday loan issue. If you can't beat them with legislation, undercut them while of course making sure that you make a profit. I bet the people passing the plate along the pews are happy their money is being used to push the poor into deeper poverty. Well fucking done.
