Simplified view of Atheist and Theists
The simple folk, who never much thought about theology and perhaps attended church, will think of atheists as somewhat evil, and Christians as more good. To simplify, we listen to the devil dude more, the Christians listen to the angel dude.

I really don't think they bother listening even. Religion is only there when they want it to be.
