Re: Guns Because
A wonderfully articulated article from a democrat, who is also pro-2nd Amendment. Imagine that.

No doubt the 2 word response is all you can come up with since you probably didn't even read it.orpheus wrote:Inaccurate propaganda.
Sadly, you're so biased you don't even see the truth when it's right in front of your face.

He makes a point in the first part that has been irking me for a while. The whole "nobody wants to take away your guns..." meme that goes around, trying to paint it as ludicrous that the administration or the Democrats want to ban guns. But, they keep talking about banning guns, and about how if they could they'd ban them all (e.g. Feinstein).
Of course they want to ban guns.
I am likewise amazed by lawmakers who propose bills when they don't know what's in the bills they propose, and when they know little to nothing about the issue upon which they are legislating. That is a huge problem in our government. They don't know what the fuck they are talking about, and yet they think they can fix the problems with the things they know almost nothing about.

Oh, I read it. It's propaganda. Much of it inaccurate. Important points skewed.Collector1337 wrote:No doubt the 2 word response is all you can come up with since you probably didn't even read it.orpheus wrote:Inaccurate propaganda.

And the blogger can't write worth a damn.

So, then, do tell what's "inaccurate."
Nice job displaying even more snobbery. As if anyone gives a shit about the "blogger's" writing ability, which isn't sub par, but of course you can't help yourself from making arrogant, immature commentary.

Actually, it's a very well-written piece full of factual information and valid conclusions and it's well-balanced and neutral it its tone.orpheus wrote:Oh, I read it. It's propaganda. I'd like to hear how exactly you think it's "inaccurate" and what "important points" were "skewed" and how.

How then do we apply gun block?JimC wrote:I read that as ultra violet people...Rum wrote:..also that as people kill people not guns, Americans appear to be ultra violent people.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Of course, in a country with sensible gun regulation, and very few hand-guns around, petty gang members can't be armed to the teeth ready to do drive-by shootings and commit general mayhem...
