Or is it only a national investigation. I'm sure some kings, philosophers and other b list celebs must be able to be exhumed and tried. We already did it with Cromwell.

Seriously though, Cromwell was tried, exhumed and ritually executed for his crimes against the monarchy during the Restoration.
