Contradictions in the babble

Saw this nice little graphic on FB. It amused me

biggerer and zoomable here

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Whatever the hell that is, it takes forever to load on screen, even with a fast link ...

Ditto - one hell of a resource when it does though!

Although, was that big red graphic really necessary? :dunno:

7.4 MB.

A JPEG file at 80% quality comes out at 3.1 MB.

A picture may be worth a thousand words, but it sometimes takes up a lot more space.

Could use a touch of optimisation there
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Bible fundamentalist will say that an all powerful god can contradict himself in his own writings if he wants to, and just fuck off and wait to hellfire...

Modern mainstream theologians will simply say that the bible is a narrative written by flawed humans that nonetheless provides a vision of hope for humanity (or any equivalent inanity), so the contradictions are simply to be expected...

Either way, no problem, so fuck off you pesky atheists...

The Bible fundamentalist has more integrity, even though he be more bananas.

Let's strip it down to what it is, the central premise is that there is a sentient, non-local entity which created the universe, and the evidence for this is some guy wrote it down somewhere in a poorly written book, that unlike all the other poorly written books about various sentient and supernatural entities, is true because I choose to think it so.

It is an insanity plain and simple.

Pretty sure it's been posted before (I think I made a smaller version first, and linked to the original though! ;) ).
