Is your son retarded too then?and if he was, I wouldn't take offence. They are just words and I have a feeling that there is no deep intention to cause suffering to others.) no, it's to do with your character; your humour and inquisitiveness, questioning of all you perceive. Seeing that there's another road other than the same old same old.
I think you're fab mateAnd as for all the bollocks, the shock tactics and the attention seeking (which I've only just read elsewhere), well, therein lies your potential. By that I mean if you are as able to inquire within as you are regarding your surrounding world, then those "negative" aspects of your character can be the most valuable teachers. If you want, of course.

Cheers, living on impulse I was quite worried that you'd construe my retard remark as offensive--but you must share same tolerance as your son seems to do. Inquisitiveness is an excess of thought, too much thought. Man is limited by what he knows, not by what he doesn't, that's why questioning things is bad so presumably your son must be as pessimistic as me

I wasn't trying to get attention so much as I gave in to impulse

Thank you

Re: The Orgin of the Chav
I think acting on impulse is natural for you still, even if it ends with consequences you don't like or want. Therein lies more learning, although it is sometimes hard to perceive the lesson when life is a series of impulses, never stopping before the next, no space in between to observe.
"Frontal brain development is also a factor related to impulsive behavior among teens. The adolescent brain is immature and in a dynamic state of development. While it may be fully formed in size, various parts within the structure of the brain continue to develop well into a person's twenties. The last area of the brain to develop is the frontal lobe. In a teenager, it is constantly being flooded with surges of neurochemicals and hormones that cause him or her to see the world with intense, new, and sometimes conflicting, interests." (sorry that was a quote!)
I think it is equally important to question ( but not make conclusions) as it is to simply be in what I call the witness state; just observing without attaching emotions to all you do or think. The less you manage to let your self be pulled along and by reaction, emotional/mental and physical, the more clarity there is.
Nice to meet you xx
