Well, Whiskey In The Jar is a trad song, so it's doesn't really belong to anyone. The Dubliners' version is probably closest to the "original", FWIW.

... but I prefer the Thin Lizzy version. Actually, Belle & Sebastian (Scotland's finest :swoon:) do a good version a la Thin Lizzy:
