As a non-religious person I prefer no title at all, but absent that option I suppose I'll settle for Alpha and Omega. :bored:

"sits back up and running"

I don't believe in atheism. It is not a rational stance to say God(s) don't exist. Not saying anything about what does exist but you'd have to know something about religion to reject it. Mostly it's abuse that forces folks to take these irrational stances I am guessing. I am not going to sign something which purports to have meaning whilst retaining none. very illogical to go beyond a 6.9 to a 7.0 in my opinion.

Atheist simply means !thiest or NOT a theist. It's a term defined by a single contrast. Unfortunately, people, including those who call themselves atheists, often take it to mean belief in the non-existence of God - which is not an illogical position to hold (belief in the non-existence of fairies, gnomes, or Santa Claus as examples). At the least, disbelief in the existence of X absent evidence for its existence is more rational than belief in the existence of X absent evidence for its existence as the logical continuation of the latter is belief in the existence of any old bollocks you can imagine, including deities who are supposed to be exclusively divine. I tend to not label myself an atheist and when the question comes up, which isn't often, I just say I don't believe in a god or gods.

Only 12 percent come from religions other than Christian ones. Interesting.

More or less :this:

Although, I do call myself an atheist, as a shortcut.
