Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) confirmed Thursday that she will seek the chairmanship of the Senate Budget Committee next year but told The Hill that she cannot commit to doing a budget.

This opens up the possibility that Senate Democrats will avoiding passing a budget resolution for the fourth year in a row.

My guess is that the Republicans have one more election with a looney tunes candidate in them.......before they either wake up and smell the 21st Century, or fade into irrelevance.

Given the state of the US economy, the Republicans really should have won - Obama did not win, the Republicans lost........in 4 years time the economic situation will be a lot better.

IMO would be kinda nice if the US moved over to multiparty democracy.
