Was the bacon satisfactory?

I'm guessing that you were in the U.S. Navy, then?
USN, '69-'89. I arrived by land each time, they couldn't pay me to get in one of those sewer pipes.
My dad is the eldest of 6 kids: boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl. All 3 girls married U.S. Sailors. I feel very sorry for the local lads during that time. All the Yanks coming in and snatching up the pretty ones to take back home. Apart from my mum, obviously. She preferred the home-grown talent.
Great accent, lots of money, very horny. We had it made in the '70s.

Oh, stop flirting, you. Your avatar shows that you're unavailable for reciprocal deviancy.

As for it looking like the rest of Scotland... how very dare you!

Awright ya dobber? Weegie filth here. Welcome.

For folks not in the know that photo of Doug (tell me he's called Doug?) does not show those houses in the far distance. Doug is massive and the biggest threat to our nation other than diabetes, heart attacks and Susan Boyle.

Ah, yes. Back in 2006 I treated myself to a Canon EOS 20D, with its mighty 5MP... which most phones now have :P

I also have a selection of lenses. It's a satisfying hobby... but one that I haven't mastered, yet.

A lot of us amateur photographers here... though a few should be professionals; they're really good.

My dug is called Ben. I'd been working on a more original name for him, but less than a week after getting him, he had to be rushed to the vet in the middle of the night. Poor little thing was suffering from parvo virus (be careful when buying from a non-registered owner). The vet needed a name, so I told them "Ben". And... well... it's now stuck.

When he's naughty, he's called Benjamin.

Ben was the name of my first dog. I'm surprised he survived parvo, he must be a uber-hund.

I recall your name from somewhere. Where you on RDF at all?

And we do have a professional here as well. Well, occasionally here.

Hi Red!
Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

In 2006, I spent the year in a camper van, touring the coast of Scotland with my dug and a camera. Good times.

I'm struggling to remember what RDF stands for... so, probably not.

I've been online since 1996, so there's a chance that our paths have crossed in the past (however briefly).
