repost from elsewhere, the "self-introductions" thread,

"...thank you dear humans, but I feel that in the welcome to fleamailman we are missing a certain je ne sais pas here, and perhaps such terms like "wonderful" "amazing" "awesome" "stupendous" and "spectacular" might be loosely sprinkled together with other words like "magnificent" "fabulous" "incredible" "brilliant" etc to make a more welcoming welcome here..." he paused adding a proviso saying "...however if you feel that there are too many superlatives at this point, one could, at a pinch, omit one or two of them and still find that the text is little diminished in the truth it so clearly professes..." uttered the goblin somewhat humbly he felt

("...thank you for starting this thread for me then..." replied the goblin, adding "...you seem very friendly, and I will do my best to fit here...", whereupon the goblin let out a MYAHAHAHA as if to prove it)

repost from else, something for maiforpeace then, the goblin was a livewriter

"...same fate for all of us..." said the goblin explaining what he meant by it, continuing "...the beauty of youth wilts, as mine has done...", and yet the difference between a cut and a plastic flower is that one is so beautiful for its brevity whereas the other is just ugly for its permanence, "...anyway, I am just happy that I married a real flower and not some plastic fake one..." said the goblin of his wife now

("...well yes, all that I suppose, and we can't let those readers down now can we..." went the goblin, adding "...you'll post with me awhile then...", as the goblin drew a circle in the air with pen only to reveal a green carpet and and a coffee table with real filtered coffee and homemade biscuits now, saying "...I mean you'll stay for tea won't you, it's always teatime on rationalia and we do lavish attention upon those we find interesting now...", handing a cup to Skeeve with a help yourself gesture)

repost from "introductions" sections, the "from incredible india" thread
Just wanted to say a big "hi" to everyone here
"...you're most welcome to here then..." replied the goblin not knowing if they actually had goblins in india, though he wouldn't be a bit surprised if they did, mind you too, what with so much on this forumland differing form its real life counterpart anyway, nothing seemed beyond imagination now, continuing "...look, I really don't want you to put off by admitting that there are writertypes on this forum now, no there are but it's nothing to worry about, promise, you just have to stay calm and imagine what you would do if you ever came across a three toed sloth sitting on your chair slowing typing away at your keyboard, drinking your coffee too, yes that's right, you simply ring up the RSPCW for it's safe removal now, well that's what they're there for I am told...", in fact, the goblin imagined too, that, what with evident ongoing loss of their natural publishing habitat, three toed sloths, potted plants, and other sorts of writertypes too, would increasingly been seen wandering into forumland now, whereupon the goblin explained "...just it seems more humane to have them neatly tucked away in the writer's section of this forum then actually shooting them outright..."
