Well thanks for asking, of course, do with it what you want.

The Iron Age earliest date for the Middle East is ~1300 BC. The Hebrews would have been behind the curve on actually becoming an Iron Age culture rather than just a user of iron products.Coito ergo sum wrote:I think it was the iron age, actually.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:I liked the Bronze-age goat-herder bit.FBM wrote:No shit. Yes, that's when it started. The religious view (no evidence) is that the Torah dates back to around 1400 BCE, but any of the views and theories that are based on evidence have them dating back to about 900 or so BCE. So, they seem more likely iron aged, unless we're prepared to start trusting the faithful.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:The Iron Age earliest date for the Middle East is ~1300 BC. I'm not trusting when they got to making iron. No good dates there.Coito ergo sum wrote:Yes, that's when it started. I'm sure during the bronze and Iron age they had religious twats complaining that everything should still be made out of God's pure wood and that metallurgy was devilish witchcraft.

It would be Bronze, I think. "Because that would good enough for the Ancient Ones".Audley Strange wrote:I'm sure during the bronze and Iron age they had religious twats complaining that everything should still be made out of God's pure wood and that metallurgy was devilish witchcraft.

But if man came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?
The other fun bit is when they ask Darwinists to predict stuff with evolution. OK, next time a meteor hits, the mammals will go. Who takes over? I have no idea.
