This Film's Crap Let's Slash the Seats

Contagion.... very predictable, watchable but mostly boring.

In Time.... not entirely bad. A decent enough plot and theme but a bit lacking and spoiled by Justin Timberlake.

Ditto to both those things. The one film that made me want to punch somebody in Hollywood in the face was:



- Ruined the original that was awesome for its day.
- So heavy handed in its political messages that I was going to vomit.
- Will Smith's kid was so fucking annoying and we were supposed to think that Keanu Reeves decided NOT to destroy the Earth because of him?
- Oh yeah, and Keanu Reeves

Contagion was praised for accuracy by many WHO types. I guess if it came across as boring it's due to the reality of contagion being boring

Anyway. Most already know it but mention again.



There is so much why would you do that?! in this film.

Aliens! In Indiana Jones?!
The aul one from the first one!
That monkey swinging scene!
Kate Blanchett!
Sympathetic enemies!
Giving Indy a son!
Then marrying him!

What? Why?

And to top it off toned down violence. Did you know Indy kills not one person in this film?

The Indiana Jones movie: I actually though that temple should have been the first one to be used, the South American collapsing one. About time.

Nothing, so long as, in this case, you don't mind being branded a sexually deviant misogynist sexist pig who's into sex trafficking, sexual slavery, murder, bondage, rape and pre-frontal lobotomy of your victims.

It had all the makings of an excellent film. Hot women, steampunk, zombie nazis... but it was crap.

Worst piece of crap I've seen in decades. And had I not been as utterly outraged at the film as I was, my first date would never have gotten to first base, much less a second date.

It was worse in many ways than "Crash." Not the Sandra Bullock version, the James Spader/Holly Hunter version, which a least had the redeeming value of the twisted, damaged women being involved in deviant sex voluntarily.
