Getting Aqua Lung deluxe on synday. Just heard the line in My God: requests your ugly ptesence at the vicarage for tea. Somehow I never heard vicarage in it before.

Just ordered a new set of tracks for my mini-excavator. Should ship on the 3rd. Then I'll be able to dig holes for fun again. The old ones were so worn out and cracked that I barely got it off the trailer at the shop without throwing a track.

The one I had the hardest time finding was A Little Night Music. Tull.

The Aqualung special edition is good but I need to get it in the car player to get the most out of it. iPod just does not do it.

The original CD release of Aqualung was such a disappointment, I'm tempted by the remaster, but still petulant at the botched job they did originally.

I watched "The Four Horsemen" this morning and Dawkins mentioned that, when asked which four records he would take with him to a deserted island, one would be Bach's St. Matthew's Passion. I have a recording conducted by Solti, but have never been a big fan of the work. But Dawkins comments have me re-evaluating and sampling different recordings by different conductors to find "the" St. Matthew's Passion. My research so far inclines me to believe that Herreweghe's second recording is the most promising. I've got a source for his first recording of the Passion, but not the second.

Beyond that, the usual waterfall of Asian cinema and books on all and sundry. I haven't celebrated Christmas yet, and most of the stuff I submitted on my wish list was available from Amazon, so I think there is a good likelihood that I may receive a gift certificate.

What else... Oh yeah, just bid on a 400 gb, a 500 gb, and two 2 TB drives on ebay. I need both. The former due to equipment failures, the latter because I need more Leibensraum. Oh, and I ordered another poster of Kali, which is late.

Beatles EP collection. CDs. These are as good as the mono 2009 masters, but I got a good price used. 12 discs. The mono box set is similar, for the tracks, but not identical.

Takes a bit getting used to play on iPod in mono, but hey, its The Beatles.

Some hot tub chemicals, a bathrobe and a Billy Blanks exercise video are all on order.
