Breakfast At Tiffany's

Post by Coito ergo sum » Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:13 pm

Well, I said what about Breakfast of Tiffany's? She said, I think I remember the film? As I recall, we both kind of liked it.

Anyway, that's one thing we've got.

Let's see...walking down the street with Audrey Hepburn on your arm, and she says she needs a drink, on one condition, that it be agreed that she not be taken home until she is very drunk..."very drunk, indeed." Ummm....uhh...those are some steep terms, but....o.k.!

Best character in the film has to be Mickey Rooney as Mr. Yunioshi. :bluchz:

It's a fun film, even if watching Rooney's OTT stereotype is fucking painful (speaking as one who has a large Japanese component of family).

As a young boy, I first fell in lust with Audrey Hepburn in that movie...

But, what's the problem with Mr. Yunioshi?

:funny:

I find it odd that you have a large Japanese component of your family... She Who Must Be Obeyed also has a large Japanese contingent of her family... :ask:

The one part of the movie that disturbs me is that Holly was married to Buddy Ebson, aka Pa on the Beverly Hillbillies.

I hope she ran away before he fouled her. The thought of Buddy Ebson sullying Audrey Hepburn would be too much to bear.

It looks like something I'd hate.

Sell it to me.

If you have to be "sold" on spending 90 minutes looking at Audrey Hepburn...

Does she get her kit off?
It was made like 50 years ago, so, no.

But, she doesn't have to. It's Audrey. She's boneriffic fully clothed.

Look. It's ok. I understand the situation. You grew up with this...

... My granny in otherwords.

I grew up with this.

I get it. There's no need to pout just because I don't find Audrey Hepburn obviously attractive the way you do with her Granny wear. It's what's called the 'generation gap'.
