I think this question falls under my umbrella assertion that you are creating smokescreens.

Personally, i think he is triangulating. It's not unlike what I did yesterday when I followed his reasoning about MZ and how odd it was that he voted for Shizz.

Gib your performance yesterday was so weird that I'm thinking I should vote you. But I need to reread the whole day 1 again first, especially as UT flipped town and I thought he was trying to railroad me to be the day 1 lynch.

What do you want me to explain exactly? I voted him because he looked scummy. Charlou came into the thread earlier, saying that she didn't have any scum picks so wasn't going to vote. Aza voted her for this. Then unvotes and moves to a DP bandwagon.

If I were scum, I wouldn't be specifically stating that I wasn't going to put down a vote.. which makes it look like Charlou was/is town.

Zig - you asked about defending MZ. The 1st time I read the interaction between him and MattShizzle, I couldn't believe that a scum would throw out the same safe claim as another player. There's just no point to that. Which is why I find it strange that others, andrew comes to mind, were trying to figure out how it could be a scum ploy on MZ's part. That just seems too complicated. Think about it - if you are scum and have a safe claim, only to find that someone else has this character - 1st thing I'd do is ask the GM, not state it in the thread.

I'd assume our specials have sorted out MZ, or will soon. There's enough attention on him to warrant that.

Actually, it made more sense to me at the time to be suspicious of Mattshizzle. I still think it does make sense.

It's a moot point. Our specials have probably already taken steps to deal with this, or they will very soon.

IOW, wasting today's votes and discussion on it is like sending two fire engines to put out a single smoking trashcan.

However, fwiw, I don't believe MZ's story.
