Agreed, though I wouldn't speak for atheists that live in the Babble Belt.

Heh...the title of this thread is the exact same one I used for one of my first speeches at Toastmasters. It was well received by a group composed of mostly religious and woo types.

Atheists are the new gay...one thing I give the US huge credit for is fighting for equal rights. We'll get there.

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
