AC Grayling: Live Lecture From Dublin.

Post by Animavore » Mon Nov 07, 2011 10:53 am

The delightful AC Grayling will be talking from some place I've never heard of in Dublin tomorrow and yours truly intends to be there and you can watch it live on the interwebs.

Here's the email I got from Atheist Ireland. Details are scant.
This is just a quick reminder that we have a lecture by AC Grayling on in the O'Callaghan Alexander tomorrow from 1 til 2.30 (or whenever you have to leave for work!)

If you can't make it physically the livestream will be available at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/atheist-ireland.

You can also follow it live on twitter with the hash tag #ailive.

Take it easy,

Saw him in Melbourne last year. Excellent speaker. Captivating.

I love his books. Though I gave them all away. One to'Zilla. Maybe he'll sign my Bible for me :ask:

I hope he's coming back to Melbourne next year. He's a much bigger drawcard than Dawkins imo.

A great philosopher is someone who can state the bleedin obvious so beautifully, that you wish you'd said it yourself.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Nietzsche
I wouldn't say that, but I think to appreciate him properly, you need to be born in his era.
I like to hear people say exactly what they mean, in clear unambiguous language, so I can't engage with what little I've read of Nietzsche. That may be more my fault than his.
Or just an incompatibility of eras.
