It's the top 0.1%. And it's only half of them. You can identify them by name, man. It's just not that hard.

ETA: It's not even particularly well done propaganda. And it's old.

The trouble withthe top 1% is that it remains after you've removed it. I mean you could end up with no one with any money following that to it's logical conclusion? Have the Occupiers thought it through?

The trouble withthe top 1%
0.1%. Get it right. It's one person in a thousand. And it's only half of them. Not all of them.

And no, it's not broken. A bunch of idiot Libertardians managed to make a mess again. We're cleaning it up again. We did this in the 1930s. Hopefully this time we don't have to have a World War.

I don't actually think there exists a system to repair. Just human behaviour and the opportunity to behave intelligently with available resources or in a dumb manner. :smoke:

Oh, there does. It's not what most people think it is, though, and it's not a mysterious cabal, either. It's what grew.

It's not much more interested in individual lives than genes are, either.

Idiots wanna have a "free market." Not very fuckin' bright, man. Market don't care shit about people. They're meat.

No, it isn't like that at all. There are markets at the human level but things like the stock market are just random number generators with people betting on up or down. When the losses get too large they bail out the system....it's a joke.

People are dying over this shit. It's no kind of joke at all. It's the most important problem in the world right now.

There isn't any solution. Cheap plentiful oil gave a seemingly infinite & flexible energy substrate(in human terms) upon which the modern world was built. There is no alternative coming on stream quickly enough or on the scale required. The coming shock to 'the system' is really a cognitive shock to the human pysche....those who can survive it, the nuclear winter and other crap which results from it....they'll be living on a very different planet in numbers that are likely to be far fewer than the unsustainable seven billion here today. Brace for impact, this babes going down.

I've been listening to people predict the end of the world since I was eight.

Still here, man.

Just sayin'.

World ain't gonna end. Just this global village 'civilization' as far as I can tell. After that, there's plenty of wild cards from the mistakes & right decisions of the survivors along with climate change to come. Could go extinct, most primates tend to have a short run and die out. Could come back with no more idiots at the helm? and reach the stars?

You wanna see the truth? Here it is: http://www.epi.org/publication/fifths-i ... 007-top-1/

The top 1% got more than half of the income growth between 1979 and 2007; and the top 0.1% got more than half of that. The lowest? The bottom quintile. It's quite straightforward. This is why there started being homeless people when Reagan came into office. I'm gonna bet it's no different in Europe. Or Britain. Or Japan.

We been ripped off. They stole the future. The figures are right there to prove it.

French Reevolution going global....there is a third option from total collapse or a worse version of the present? and to counter that the top 0.1% are organising a world war? Who are they to be doing this? Doesn't seem credible that 1 in a thousand got control of the rudder without them being far different beyond what the numbers say? :smoke:
