Dropped LSD once - I didn't decide to, my friends thought it'd be a good idea. Had a bad trip and never did it again. Didn't see God though.

Woulda been a bad trip if he had, IMO.

Yes, Jones. Take a trip and ESP me. I'll show you there is no God beyond the walls of reality. There aren't even any walls

Off-topic, but I never had a bad trip. Can't even imagine how it's possible, unless you got something laced with something vile. :dunno:
It depends how much you have, what company you are with and what you got stored up in your head to start with ......also you probably don't have a mental disorder , I used to take it to clear my head when it was 'messy' :hehe: and the experiences weren't that much fun at the time but very cathartic .

Tyrannical, taking a lot the first time is a gamble, I wouldn't recommend it but then neither would I recommend drinking a bottle of vodka the first time time you touch alcohol .
It's amusing that Jonesy thinks that Faith can be induced by Mind bending drugs is proof of god not that Faith is therefore a delusion though !

It's not just drugs I hear if you spend 40 days and nights alone and starving in a desert that you can end up thinking the Devil is talking to you !

OOPS you didn't think this through very well did you Jonesy ?

Certainly a common belief among tribals that have a history of using psychoactive drugs.

Yup, that was the point of the OP. Massive first dosage trip.

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

BTW I just remembered: :prof:
A few years ago, I found out that a man who lived half-way down our street when I was a kid was at one time the only person licensed to import LSD into Canada for experimental purposes. :levi:
No, there wasn't any left. :sadcheer:

Never needed more than 2~3 tabs, so I was a bit of a lightweight, anyway. Just the occasional teeth-grinding when something wasn't quite clean. And nobody has ever accused me of having anything stored in my head, that's for sure. :FBM:

Oh, and the first thing I did after dropping was leave all present company at all costs. People just get in the way at such times. Last thing I want to do is have a conversation.

I like watching horror films tripping .. but just puttering around the garden with the dogs used to be nice when I lived in the countryside .

Carlos Castaneda.... A bit of a liar actually! but still it's right up Jonesy's alley .

Concur. While anecdote is not evidence, I have to say you have two people who have been where you claim and are calling bullshit on your LSD claims, Jonesboy.

I'm not particularly encouraged by someone whose name evokes a man who fed his followers cyanide-laced koolaid.

Depends who dropped drips on the blotter, and who diluted the acid before they did. Usually three to four.

I understand your point; the closest I've come was needing to be away from everyone. Since I was aware that's what the problem was, I just did it- but I've seen people want to do things that would hurt them to get their aloneness. You have to see they need it and help them get it- that way they don't get hurt. They'll come back soon enough.

Nope. 250 mcg max. Two tabs of blotter max, more like one for a n00b. It's enough to bring you to the threshold, later you can decide to walk over.

ETA: Next trip, not later this one.
