Richard Dawkins was sexually molested as a child.
Just like many a young Church goer.
Hey this is fun.

Richard Dawkins has an invisible pink unicorn in his garage.
Just like Jesus, only without the nail holes.

I mean, I agree with the OP's basic assertion that Richard Dawkins's approach to religion is religiously motivated and he needs to expend some effort finding out what being an atheist really means, but the OP's reasons for drawing the similarity are illogical and flawed.

See me, Clint Eastwood, silhouetted by the bright sun, walking into the saloon, met by a stupid look of wonder from the town's bums and bandito's. This shootout will see you all dead.

The OP will have more time to spend here - he's already banned at atheistforums.org.
Hello, Jonesby. I think you'll find most folks around here aren't really followers of Dawkins.

Richard Dawkins's approach to religion is religiously motivated
Explanation required. :deadpan:
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

Oh what the hell, I'll bite.
What does being an atheist really mean and how does RD get it wrong?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

This seems like someone watched Adam Curtis' "All watched over by Machines of Loving Grace." Heard Curtis' gag about Dawkins reinventing the concept of the soul through the transfer of information through the immortal D.N.A. and ran with it without getting the joke or the entire point of Curtis' show.
(And Pokemon computer games are logic based, nothing in the big book of bullshit comes even close to being so elegantly designed, shit though such games may be.)
