Hey, It not like the thatcher was toppled and replaced by somebody that much better... that major guy was nearly as bad, just less in your face.

Yeah but he loved cricket. No one who loves cricket can be all bad.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I imagine there are a good few people who are quite relieved by the barbaric way it all ended. Sadam languishing in gaol and being put on trial added to Iraq's agonies for one thing - something to be avoided no doubt. Then there is MI6 and Tony Blaire. Can you imagine what Gaddaffi might have told us about that little nest of relationships?

I wonder if the endgame was quite as spontaneous as it looked.

Oh, I'd say it was spontaneous, or at least one or some of the troops on the ground had decided in their own mind that they were going to finish him off if they got the chance. After all, he was public enemy #1 in the most literal sense.

But you're right in that the outcome is a relief to people other than the Libyans themselves ...

Put your balls on the ground.
Hit them really hard with a stick.
Go find them.
Repeat.

I like golf courses they are great for running the dog ,shooting rabbits and deer and it's nice they put out sand boxes to keep the dog poop tidy and out of the way ... Golfers are however one step up the ladder from Creotards .

This is interesting. I remember watching this show - aired in 1987. Were less than 3 months off!

:wtf:

You're kidding right? Most every government in history sponsors terrorists of one sort and scale or another. Exempli gratia - The US sponsored Saddam Hussein and the "resistance fighters" in the Soviet Afghan war (who they later deposed and are still fighting - we know them as the Taliban).

Because his allegedly sponsored terrorists are somehow more offensive to you than those of occidental governments it amounts to just cause for you?
