And now for chaos in the blood-drenched ruins as tribal, religious and political conflicts, long suppressed by strongman rule, erupt to the surface, and the wannabees jockey for advantage...

There are no Merkins about to rebel against or blame things on. So they might look more to their own advantage rather than take a knee-jerk an anti-Western stance born out of resentment.JimC wrote:Certainly one possibility...Zombie Gawdzilla wrote:...and then we have another radical iSlamist country.JimC wrote:And now for chaos in the blood-drenched ruins as tribal, religious and political conflicts, long suppressed by strongman rule, erupt to the surface, and the wannabees jockey for advantage...
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

There are too many Joos in Merka, so we don't have to do squat to get them to hate us.Robert_S wrote:There are no Merkins about to rebel against or blame things on. One can empathise with the Libyan people. They must have the feelings that Brits had the day Thatcher was finally toppled...
