Luis Suarez takes a bite ...

... out of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. :food:

As he has form in this area (banned in Holland for 7 games after biting an opponent), he's likely to end up in hot water (yet again), even though the ref didn't see it.

Apparently, Mike Tyson has started following him on Twitter. :?

Given that some of his other indiscretions have involved illicit handling of the ball to score (or prevent!) goals, someone has dubbed him "Handball Lector".

He does have an impressive rap sheet:

Having taken advice, no doubt. He (and the club) know he is staring at a lengthy ban, hence the timeous breast-beating for arm-eating.
He is happy whose circumstances suit his temper, but he is more excellent who can suit his temper to his circumstances (Hume).

Oh not doubts on that score. Past experience will have taught them that.

The fact that half the planet had already seen the evidence might also have been a motivating factor ...

Lol. That's pretty blatant. What a weirdo.

Who the fuck bites someone? The parents of grown adults who bite other people have a lot to answer for. I suppose those parents never got around to reprimanding their child for biting. The kids probably never grew out of it.

I blame evolution. Football is played by 'apes' and inevitably not being able to use hands to throw up a fuss means a shift towards teeth as a means to display dominance. :coffee:

10-match ban for Suarez. Being a repeat offender, they threw the book at him:

Idiot's lucky the guy didn't just go mental and cripple the fucker. I watched a player nearly drown in his own blood at an amateur football league match once after his violent antics enraged so many players of the other team that they literally took their boots to his head. His own team-mates just watched.
