Salt poster: anti-sexy Angelina Jolie - WHY?!

I saw a poster for "Salt" on Friday, which had been obviously pretty heavily photoshopped. Especially when back-lit, the poster (hopefully included, if not, please follow the link) made Angelina Jolie look awful, IMO. I have read enough about the film to know that there is a terminator-like / not-quite-fully-human dimension to her character, but WHY oh WHY would anyone photoshop her to look like a plastic doll?

The "beauty" / fashion / film industry is starting to seriously turn me off - what is presented as "selling" / "seductive" nowadays looks :|~ to me more often than not. Including many pictures of men, too. Blah! :nono:

Personally I don't find her attractive and I wonder what all the fuss is about. She is rather too 'chiselled' and angular facially for my liking.

Having said that I thoroughly enjoy her acting - and Salt was great fun (and that's about all it was mind you).

The picture of her in the poster looks awful, but it does match the lack of reality in the movie. (which bored me to death)

I think she has a pretty face when it isn't photoshopped. Her body, :dono: her arms are a bit too vein-y.

Well, a photo where a human being looks like a human being attracts me much more strongly than one where a human being looks like Your Plastic Pal Who's Fun To Be With (TM).
