Or, he's like a bazillion other men who like women and women who like men, who try to find ways to get in their pants that doesn't rise to the level of "sexual harassment" under EEOC rules.

"Inappropriate comment" and "made me uncomfortable" are so subjective as to be entirely useless as evidence of "sexual harassment."

In the first place, in order to "harass" someone, there's a mens rea component that the perpetrator have an intention of causing alarm, dismay or fear. Simply making a comment related to the purported "victim's" sex doesn't meet that standard at all, given the fact that flirting with co-workers is still NOT against the law in the US.

These sorts of allegations always come out during campaigns, and they are a vile attempt at character assassination for what is perfectly ordinary and harmless male/female interaction in the workplace that happens all the time.

Need I remind everyone of Bill Clinton and his proclivities in that regard? Ask yourself honestly if you've never, ever, not even once made a sexually suggestive remark to a co-worker, even something as simple as complimenting them on their attire or for that matter opening a door for them. If you're a paragon of sexual workplace rectitude, then you can call Cain a "loser." Until then, he's not a loser, you're a hypocrite.

You actually think he's a "loser" I suspect simply because he's a black man who doesn't fit the liberal/progressive mould and you can't stand the idea of a conservative black as President. Neither, I suspect, can Mitt Romney.

Indeed. But the reason for the gag-order is precisely because the allegations are so weak, but strong enough to start a whisper smear campaign, that it was in the best financial interests of the Association to settle. And the fact that the alleged "victim" agreed demonstrates that the alleged "harm" was so petty and insignificant that she was willing to settle upon an agreement to keep her yap shut about it. Personally, I think that the Association should deem that she's violated the gag order already and should sue her for return of the settlement money, which would leave her free to say what she likes about the case.

He is not, as you suggest, guilty until proven innocent, he's innocent until proven guilty by, in this case, a preponderance of the evidence in a court of law. That has not occurred, so he's still presumptively innocent. Further, she's no longer an accuser, and there is no proof (or even evidence) that he harassed her. That a settlement was paid is not proof (or even evidence) that harassment occurred. Companies frequently settle false claims simply as an economic expedient to protect the company from having to litigate a false claim, which is expensive, and the attendant bad press, which is hard to control.

Such false-claim settlements happen all the time, and that's why gag orders are imposed when such settlements are made, to prevent the individual from levying the same false allegation in the future.

So, back to two, and it's you who can't count and is mendaciously presuming guilt based on a mere accusation. Well, how about this: I accuse Schneibster of fucking little children.
