God is indeed a jealous God - he must be getting very jealous of all the attention terminally ill children give to Santa Claus, so he has ensured that epic amounts of snow will ruin their happiness.

So not only has God's plan involved the creation of desperately sick children who will never see adulthood, many of whom are in great pain according to an article on BBC Northern Ireland's radio news this morning, but it also involves destroying a beautiful crumb of comfort for a hundred of them by preventing them from seeing Santa. It's so cruel it almost makes me think he doesn't exist.
