Nissan taking leave campaign to court for misrepresentations on flyer:
Nissan to sue Vote Leave campaign over EU referendum flyer
Japanese carmaker to take legal action after its name and logo were used on leaflets urging voters to back Brexit

Nissan is to take legal action against the Vote Leave campaign after the Japanese carmaker’s logo was used on leaflets calling for voters to back Brexit in Thursday’s referendum.

On one flyer the Nissan logo appeared next to those of four other major companies, including Unilever and Vauxhall, with the message: “Major employers … have all said they’ll stay in the UK whatever the result of the referendum.”

Nissan, which wants Britain to remain in the EU, announced on Monday it was issuing legal proceedings to stop Vote Leave from using its name and logo and to “prevent them making any further false statements and misrepresentations concerning Nissan”.

Trade benefits BOTH sides. You guys are painting it like countries trading with Britain will be doing it as a favour to them.
Well, it's clear the big players have more negotiating power, and are able to set stiffer terms for access to their markets. It's not like the UK is manufacturing very much and the financial services sector isnt really in the import/export mix.

I don't take Seth's views as representative of Americans, being one myself (well, a dual citizen now) and having many friends and family back home that would find his views abhorrent. I know people who are gun owners (though it's a very small percentage of the people I know) and even NRA members, and yet am fairly damn positive none of them would agree with what he said.
Indeed. For Seth owning a gun is more than a right, it's a duty - and abrogation of that responsibility warrants death. It's jihadism without heaven.

This is where Seth's superior logic, reason and rationalism comes in, you see. She wasn't murdered. She was slaughtered. And unarmed people deserve to be slaughtered. QED!

Hardly. I've further explained myself to clarify what I meant.

But unarmed people who are slaughtered or murdered who are unarmed by choice have no room to complain about not being able to prevent their killing, nor is sympathy for their plight mandatory. If you make a choice to be an unarmed pacifist why on earth should you not be required to accept the consequences of that decision without complaint and why should anyone else be concerned with your fate?

If you're disarmed against your will then it's your duty to fight against such oppression and tyranny (including by disobeying any 'law" which attempts to disarm you, which is no law at all, being an outright violation of basic human rights) to ensure that you are able to provide for your own defense, and it's perfectly rational to blame the government and the people who voted that government into office for any harm that might befall you because you were involuntarily disarmed.

Your personal safety is yours to deal with and nobody else has any responsibility to do it for you, nor should you ask or expect them to do so.

Well I'm glad to say in the UK from the most further left wing communist to the far right fascists, no one and I mean absolutely no on in the UK has said giving out guns would improve things. Not one paper article, not one British website, absolutely no one

The UK is filled with nut cases but even we don't have anyone that crazy to encourage private gun ownership

Stupidity is a heritable trait, which adequately explains your claim, which is not actually true.
