She didn't need the VP to solidify her as a serious politician. It would have tied her to Obama's presidency and policies in a much more direct way. She would have had less freedom regarding her own positions (without 'betraying' the party) and less power (in a mostly ceremonial position). If I were in her position in 2008, I wouldn't have wanted to be his running mate.Coito ergo sum wrote:I don't know. Says the President hasn't created a single job. Liar.Coito ergo sum wrote:Steve Wynn -- don't lecture me, bro! http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/ ... re_me.html
The same "Obama gutted the welfare to work requirements" claim that has been debunked a million ways to Sunday. Liars.Welfare waivers do water down the work requirements -- http://www.manhattan-institute.org/html ... HWruxXNaSp
"The books are being cooked....but I have no actual evidence of that at all." Liars.Jack Welch --- jobs report, my ass! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000087 ... on_LEADTop
So Romney says at the debate, "I'm going to cut funding to Big Bird" as an example of how he plans to tackle the deficit, and they can't figure out why the Obama campaign is using it? Dumb asses.Focusing on the real issues important to Americans, Obama rally features Sesame Street song.... http://politicker.com/2012/10/ohio-obam ... heme-song/
Was Biden complaining about the cost of gas, or the fact that this "Joe" didn't have enough expendable income? Liars.Biden complained in October, 2008 debate that people could barely afford to fill their gas tanks: http://cnsnews.com/blog/craig-bannister ... -08-debate In October, 2008, gas prices were around $1.99 or so. And there's the problem. I've been all over, looking for informed, honest conservatives to debate and discuss issues with, and they just don't seem to be out there. The conservative media sources and "think tanks" are so out of touch with reality on so many subjects, I honestly don't think they even know the difference between a lie and the truth. IMO, Romney reflected this problem in last week's debate. One lie after another. Obama could have been much more assertive and passionate about his own positions, but had he gone down the path of pointing out Romney's lies, distortions, and flip-flops, he would have done nothing else the entire night.
It's the same reason why creationists regularly beat scientists in oral debates. When one side has no problem lying ad infinitum, it's very difficult to overcome.

I find it amazing that Grover is such a rare name, especially since we had a President Grover Cleveland
But yeah, that is why you fire editorial staff for printing ridiculous biased pictures of Romney.

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
