Re: Australian 'no-go' zones
Some surf breaks can be pretty parochial. One down the road from me has "locals only" sprayed painted onto the headland at various times (someone keeps removing it).

Re: Australian 'no-go' zones
I would agree with the statement as written, but I suspect you don't mean 'exaggeration.' It seems more likely to me that you mean something along the lines of 'manifestation.'
While there was an instance in London a few years ago of zealous Muslim men taking it upon themselves to walk the streets of their neighborhood with the intention of enforcing their conception of Sharia law, when they acted on their misguided idea they ended up in jail. I've spent time in that neighborhood, and don't believe the propaganda about it being a no-go zone. Nor do I think the notion of a Muslim menace creating a number of no-go zones in European cities is borne out by the evidence.
The genuine phenomenon of neighborhoods that can be dangerous predates the widespread entrance of Muslims into Europe. To blame Islam for the fact that crowded low-income neighborhoods with shitty infrastructure can be dangerous is the height of ignorance.
Lauren Southern strutted into a neighborhood accompanied by a sizable entourage of muscle-heads and a media team, intending to provoke a reaction. She succeeded in provoking the police to tell her to keep her circus away from her intended target. I've watched a video of that stunt shot by a local non-Muslim reporter, who informed her that the people in the Aussie pub across the street (in the supposed Muslim no-go zone that Southern had just claimed had no Aussie pubs) were yelling insults at her in Strine, which seemed to confuse Southern.Cunt wrote: ↑Wed Feb 27, 2019 6:37 pmDenial of it is what leads to voraciously protecting the rights of that group to not be offended.
So Lauren Southern isn't right for this, because of who she is, or how she has behaved. I might accept that, but can you say who IS making those important criticisms? Someone you are a fan of, I mean. Someone who does a good, fair job of it.
I don't need some ignoramus with an agenda of bullshit to inform my opinions of Islam, nor of Islamist shitheels. Though I haven't sat down and read the entire Quran like I have the Bible, I have read large portions of it, as well as books on Arab and Muslim culture. Thoughtful, well-informed criticism of the excesses of Islamists has its place, but right now the field is overrun with fools and boneheads like Southern.

Re: Australian 'no-go' zones
Why are we even discussing "no go zones in Australia" still? The clip our member from Yellowknife proffered is as unconvincing as the weatherman pretending to be battling stormy winds in the clip I followed up with.
Sydney has always had areas with a high concentration of one particular ethnicity or another. Canterbury-Bankstown has its Lebanese, Cabramatta its Vietnamese, Campsie its Koreans, and so on. None of them are - or have ever been - no go areas. Having lived and worked in Sydney for over 30 years I should know.
We used to have suburbs with concentrations of people from other countries. In the after-war period Greek immigrants settled in Marrickville and Italians in Maroubra. While the original immigrants opened shops, started businesses, community centres and generally tended to stay where they landed, their children resisted their parents' pressure to form and remain in a permanent enclave. Most of their grandchildren don't even know how to read or speak the language their grandparents tried to make them practise. They have become officially as well as culturally Australians (leaving aside the question as to whether you could reasonably utter "Australia" and "culture" in the same breath). I expect the same to happen with present and future concentrations of ethnically homogenous populations.

Nah, just enjoying how vigorously many of you defend Islam from critics. It's hard to tell you guys from muslim adherents.

Me too. It’s a fabulous religion. My own preferred method of worship is the homosexualist mufti ritual. I go dressed in my most flamboyant costumes and make lots of bottom sex.
Re: Australian 'no-go' zones
Either I did, or you didn't have any good ones, or I forgot.
But I understand your evading these questions...it's that love of certain groups that has been pushed on us all...they might be seen as a cringing, timid minority. Wouldn't want to be critical of a weak or vulnerable group in front of your team.
Re: Australian 'no-go' zones
I feel so inadequate in my religious practices. Forgive me, Allah, I'm just here for the falafel.
