Why?
Libertarianism: The belief that out of all the terrible things governments can do, helping people is the absolute worst.

That's brilliant.

Shits on radar as well, by the looks of it.

I've been wargaming this thing with some friends. Our thoughts go like this:

You have three PAV1s per soldier. One is armed and operated by remote control, the "point" unit. The soldier is in the second one, some distance behind the first wave. Each soldier also have a supply unit slaved to his personal unit. When supplies are exhausted the third unit goes to the rear for resupply. The second PAV is programmed to go find a medical unit if the vital signs of the soldier indicate they need assistance. All the PAVs can be remotely controlled through an encrypted channel.

I have no idea what you are talking about, but it sounds like The A Team and is therefore brilliant. Count me in.

It's the closest we have to wearable armor right now. The PAV is already in use with S.W.A.T. teams. It's 32" wide, so it fits through a doorway. "Knock, knock, BANG!"

These are the guys who built the Ripsaw.

I'd build a counter-snowmobile with a sloped front to tip these on their backs. Job done.

They can climb a 45 degree slope. And you'd have get close enough. Your horse probably wouldn't make it.

I reckon a horse could run rings round one of these things.

Rear visibility looks non-existent, too. I'd send a servant with a stick of dynamite to creep up on it.

In short, it's RUBBISH!

The field model has a full windscreen. And it can carry cameras for 360 field of view.

A modest IED would probably put that thing in orbit....
