I actually think it's brilliant. Proles need to learn that they're perfectly adequate as they are and have no need to aspire above their station. You're glad you're a Gamma, Betas and Alphas have to work much too hard.

well, thing is, I'm not the stallion I used to be, but I'm not yet so out of order that I can reconcile myself with the concept of that aspect of my life being over (and in the same breath with the possibility of putting an end to the tedium of life through any interesting and preferably non painful means).

I've thought about non-painful means of exiting this Vale of Tears. I think the best way would be to skydive and not open the chute. But wear a GoPro and live stream it. Legendary, would go viral as fuck.
