End of UK heatwave? Met Office issue DANGER warning for thunderstorms, hail and flooding

The unprecedented heatwave across Britain this week could come to an abrupt end tomorrow with a forecast of thunderstorms, hail and flash flooding.

The UK has seen six days in a row of temperatures hitting above 30C, as the scorching heatwave risks sparking a hosepipe ban.

However, this looks set to be disrupted tomorrow morning after the Met Office issued their first ever yellow weather warning for thunder.

The new yellow thunder warning means that the south-west of England and Southern Wales are at risk of thunderstorms, power cuts and flooding.

We have had an amazing summer so far in the north of England. Upper 20s this last couple of weeks and mid 20s since early May. I love it but the grass is beginning to die now - a very unusual thing to happen in this part of the world.

I hope we can avoid a flood this year. It came up to the porch last year which means it was over the roofs of neighbors at either end of the street. That's happened 3 times in as many years. They've promised to make improvements.

They did especially while he sat on his porch and drank a beer while they floated away...

Many people ended being rescued by boat. Hopefully everyone has learned to take it seriously now and will leave when they are asked to. The nearest neighbors that stayed last time just kept moving their cars up the street until their houses flooded. Those people just wanted access to the shitter and some coffee the next day.

In Africa, when the temperatures plummet to the 30s, we put on a jumper to avoid the chills.

I remember in Mexico City the temp dropped to 18C and locals wore hats, big coats and gloves.
