We are, incidentally, having a house built at the moment. Will be ready for occupation about May/June. Looked in on the site a couple of days ago and the poo pipes were being laid. Essentials first!
I don't look out my window and see it, but I used to get this view on my morning drive to work. I still get a good view of the mountains on my commute, but I no longer drive by the park with the red rock formations. That's a rather famous spot called the Garden of the Gods.
As for the view from my house, I can see the mountains over my neighbor's houses when the trees are bare, but I usually just walk to the corner to get an unimpeded view. It's one of the things I love about where I live. Postcard views abound.
