Blackbushe plane crash: Bin Laden family owned private jet

The plane that crashed in Hampshire after a failed attempt at landing was owned by the family of Osama Bin Laden, it has been revealed.

A pricey Phenom 300 jet crashed shortly after 3pm at Blackbushe Airport earlier today.

The jet smashed into cars, sparking a huge blaze.

Follow our live blog here.

However tonight it has been revealed that the aircraft was owned by Salem Aviation of Jeddah, a part of the Bin Laden Group.

The plane’s registration, HZ-IBN, is the exact same registration used by Osama bin Laden’s father, Mohammed.

Mohammed bin Laden died when he crashed his Beechcraft 18 twin propellor plane into a mountain landing strip in Usran, Saudi Arabia in 1967.

(continued, family tradition of dud landings....)

Meh. The "Bin Laden family" includes half of Saudi Arabia!
