Boris Johnson: Radicalised children should be in care

Muslim children who risk radicalisation by their parents should be taken into care, Boris Johnson has said.

Writing in his weekly Daily Telegraph column, the London mayor said such children were victims of child abuse.

Mr Johnson said they should be removed from their families to stop them being turned into "potential killers or suicide bombers".

A "fatal squeamishness" had developed over intervening in the behaviour of certain groups in society, he added.

But he said there was a need to be "stronger and clearer in asserting our understanding of British values".

He warned that some young people were being "taught crazy stuff" similar to the views expressed by the two men who killed Fusilier Lee Rigby on a south-east London street.

From what I've read, the radicalisation often happens in spite of the parents, either via a local radical mosque (which should have a slight accident with a bulldozer) or via the internet...

Twisted logic of the Bullingdon elite....take a few kids into care and the rest of the Muslims will be policing themselves concerning radicalism?

I had to look her up. Apparently there is a singer called Natasha Johnson, and yes, I can see the attraction.

As for Boris, I can't help but think it would be a good idea to give him another job. Ambassador to the Ukraine. And tell him his official residence is in Pripyat.

Heh, well he is only really taking a line for Dawkins no? If indoctrination of children is child abuse, then why shouldn't they be taken into care?

Still if he's worried about children being taught "crazy stuff" perhaps he should expand his claim and the government should fund concentrated "re-education" camps.

The thing that fucks me off is I know he's not as stupid and bumbling as he acts, but what an act. Perhaps those in the media should be holding him to task for that persona rather than promoting the image of him being a lovable village idiot. He's a shifty, shady and cunning individual.

I'd take Tory children into care before they turn into rabid capitalists.

:whisper: Actually, the Natasha reference was because Boris and Natasha were the evil arch-villains in the animated "Rocky and Bullwinkle Show"...
