Wow, could be good. I don't really understand how they've managed it though so I'm hesitant to speculate on its usefulness. As far as I can see they've solved one problem of a particular misfolded protein, but I don't know how well that process would necessarily translate to other misfolded proteins - whether it can be easily developed and altered for others, or if each would need its own massive amount of research, with some being much harder or impossible to find solutions too. No doubt an important step along the way though.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Hmmm......interesting science but when I see a claim that one technique / treatment can be a cure-all, my alarm bells start ringing....one to watch, though.
