Irony is alive and well and living in Rome

Post by trdsf » Thu Nov 21, 2013 3:28 am

A third century Roman catacomb has been re-opened, and some of the art therein appears to depict women serving as priests.

The Vatican promptly dismissed it as a "fable, a legend".

I haven't laughed so hard in ages.

Interesting, and I bet altarboys will prefer being molested by lady priests

Well, that's gonna depend on the altar boy... I'll grant you that statistically, most will. :)

I'm always surprised that so many women's groups advocate for being allowed to be as deluded as men.

Or maybe I'm not thinking this through - perhaps it's more a case of, "If men can earn a decent living spouting nonsense while wearing dresses, women should be able to too."

Pfft. Catholics. Glad I woke up.
