So, Nick Clegg (atheist who has a Catholic wife) has sent his son to the London Oratory School. A volunteer aided Catholic academy.
Looking through the schools policies I found this piece of hypocracy......
Here it sets down the rules on discrimination:-

Claiming to treat everyone with equality, etc etc.
And then here, under it's admissions policy, it blatantly discriminates against non-Christians:-
http://www.london-oratory.org/tlos/htdo ... =6&sub=107
In the event of there being fewer Catholic applicants than places, consideration will be given to non-Catholic applicants who actively support the aims, values, expectations and ethos of the School, in the following order: Other looked after children and children who have been adopted (or made subject to residence orders or special guardianship orders) immediately following having been looked after followed by members of the Eastern Christian Churches (which include the Orthodox Churches); members of the Church of England; members of other Christian denominations; members of non-Christian faiths. In respect of these categories, parents will be required to provide evidence that they and their son or daughter practise their faith in accordance with the teachings, doctrines, rites and practices of the faith to which they belong. The School will not offer a place to a non-Catholic applicant if it would thereby be unable to offer a place to a suitable Catholic applicant. For members of Eastern Catholic churches the relevant CCEO canons will apply.
Nice to know my tax money goes to good causes.
