Created problems...

Body Odour, Male Grooming, Bad Breath, Armpit Hair...

Oddly enough, it seems that the same time these little social faux pas were discovered was at the same time and by the same company that released a product to combat the issue...

You could include most cosmetic surgery too.

BO was actually coined in a marketing department.

And, of course drugs.

I wonder if I have been permanently changed by this marketing because there's this guy in my hiking group who just reeks...I can't tell if it's because he just has a diet that creates a strong body odor when he sweats, or if it's because he doesn't bathe often enough but it is just plain disagreeable. I try to tell myself it's just someone else's natural smell, but it's gross and it's not pleasant to stand near him. Because he is a genuinely nice, friendly and kind fellow I feel badly about this and wonder how I might tell him this, anonymously.

We all jockey to be the last in the line of hikers so we can be the farthest downwind from him. :(
