Great Disney scene EVAR!

Post by Lozzer » Wed Sep 01, 2010 3:03 pm

FOR VICTORY AND ST GEORGE :awesome:

This film was possibly my greatest pastime as a child, and I still love it. My mum used to have an old brass bed exactly like it, and I'd spend hours pretending I was flying on it :Ian:

I'd forgotten about that film. I loved it, too!

:ani: The British, it burns.

I can see where JK Rowling got her inspiration for silly magic spells from.

Snow white was shit ? Disney invented the full length animation and most of the tech to make a film watchable .FFS

You actually said that ! what planet are you on? I knew you had terrible taste in music but that is the saddest thing you have come out with on this forum so far .

It would suggest the best thing for you is to stick your head in a plastic bag and breath pure helium or argon for about an hour .

I'm still trippin' from Fantasia :awesome:

In the old days, Disney= quality. Dunno what happened. But, over the years, Disney came to equal shite. Pixar= class, of course. But Pixar does not equal Disney. They just happen to be a creative company that Disney owns.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I agree with Isopod, Disney was too kidsy, even when I was a kid, I prefer anvils and ACME TNT to anything Disney ever made. :shotgun:

I seem to remember being force-fed this shit at school on one of the last days of the year when we all got perched in front of the TV and I didn't particularly like it then. Curiously enough, it hasn't grown on me, either.

When it comes to 10 minute cartoons I'm 100% behind you.
But if you think Disney movies are shit you must be trippin'.

Oh, sorry......
The Incredible Journey
The Lion King
The Santa Clause
The Muppet Christmas Carol.

I usually just find Disney films to be too "schmaltzy" :ani:

I fucking love The Lion King!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life
