Marquis de Sade

Does anyone know of a good translation (or a good translator) of his works? I've been interested in his stuff since I read that John Dolan wrote his dissertation on Sade.

I think there are a lot of fairly standard translations. Sade in waterstone's over here is always placed in the classics section... I think I read about 10 pages of 120 days of Sodom before I had to stop..

You can download his works there's a torrent

They are the rambling erotic and sadistic (of course!) fantasies of a man in prison with no other sexual outlet in my view. Some of the content is very nasty, even if one is into BDSM sort of stuff. I read a couple of his books - or tried to some years ago. Not sure I really recommend them!

I dislike reading books and the like on a computer because, for me, a computer is not meant to be very bright. I like my backgrounds dark. It's easier on the eyes.

I'm still young and stupid. I'm gonna need something to regret as I age, and this is a prime time to get the really juicy regrets in.
