The beauty of the Worker's Paradise of North Korea

This needs no introduction, I think. I'll just say that it surfaced in today's newspaper. Mind-blowing, to me, anyway:

"A philosopher is a blind man in a dark room looking for a black cat that isn't there. A theologian is the man who finds it." ~ H. L. Mencken

"We ain't a sharp species. We kill each other over arguments about what happens when you die, then fail to see the fucking irony in that."

"It is useless for the sheep to pass resolutions in favor of vegetarianism while the wolf remains of a different opinion."

Shit, even the universities can't log on to the Web. That sort of access to the outside world is restricted to a very elite clique.

It's in North Korean, so I can't pick up a lot of their vocab, but rest assured that every line is based on the same theme:
"North Korea wonderful, best place in the world to live. Rest of world full of starving junkies who want to kill us and take away our glorious paradise."

Repeat ad nauseum. Or die. :ddpan:

You were probably eating the leftovers of the baby meat you sold to support your herion habit (after you raped it, of course). Capitalist barbarian. :ddpan:

Wait... you mean that North and South are different enough that intercomprehension is difficult? When was Korea last culturally unified?

Oh, late '40s-ish. North and South Korean languages and culture are drifting apart. The N. Korean powers won't accept any English influence on their language, whereas S. Korean is full of Konglish.

I think I'm going to move to North Korea, just to avoid these puns driving me to suicide.
