Although her latest album apparently isn't specifically a Christian music album, but rather as a natural result of her faith is nevertheless infused with a Christian sensibility, I think it's safe to say her music career is pretty much over. Most if not all of her previous fan base will no doubt abandon her. She may cultivate a new fanbase of course, but that will be difficult considering the insular nature of Christian music. In other words, no one outside of Christian music fans will have heard of her.
Some of the comments in response to the article are funny (or sad, or infuriating, depending upon your point of view). The religious apologists who are weighing in can't even agree what their god thinks about homosexuality. Some are condemning her, others insist God has nothing against homosexuality. And then you have those who insist that they don't hate fags. They hate the sin, not the sinner. They hate the "lifestyle choice." Only their god can hate the fags; it's not up to them to do so.

She isn't blonde and cutesy so she probably didn't have much of a big bucks career hope on the Christian circuit to start with. If she's a nobody I hope this is good publicity for her. Wa-hey!

I'd really like to know her character history...

It feels real weird that somebody who wasn't brought up fundie should convert, become a specifically christian musician... and later come out as afflicted with one of the biggest no-noes of judaeo christian culture, one that is fairly incompatible with he previously avowed faith...

I'm pretty sure she's making a therapist or two wealthy.
