Not yet, my computer/internet connection is just being an utter cunt. The other half took his expensive computer away as I'd filled it with viruses and gave me a shitty laptop which doesn't like me. It would seem I had created a perfect balance of viruses on the other computer as it worked perfectly but having swapped them over they are now having hissy fits.

Who asked about the username? 'Millefleur' is also a poultry plumage colour, I breed the colour in Pekins and my first dip into forum life was on poultry forums, hence the username.

Way to go! :woot: Conditional or unconditional offer? Where? Doing what? Who's the prof? Inquiring minds want to know!

:fp2: Just realized I haven't welcomed Millefleur yet - SORRY!

And welcome. :flowers: Whatever you do, if the guy with the gray beard (this one: :zilla: ) says something is safe, do *not* believe him! Especially if it involves fireworks.

You gotta meet Dory and GenesForLife at least, or what do you say based on e.g. these threads?

This starts a bit slow, but picks up soon, and after that oscillates irregularly between the basic and the advanced (and some humor) http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 34&start=0

What happens when this question is posed: "Say, GFL, what do I need to buy in order to have a proper biopunk lab?" http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 17&start=0

And there are others, like http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 45&start=0

I hope you will also find your way to the Pub. It's the really relaxed and laid-back section.

Hello fellow Irish person, welcome to the least sensible place on the internet.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
