All it means, I imagine, is that the college where Mandy gets his education and Internet access is closed for vacation purposes. So now like a proper Muslim, instead of studying whatever he studies, if the college is closed, he can devote his time to the Qur'an as prescribed by Alan. It is isn't it? That's all you're supposed to do apart from belittle women?
