Whatever chair you have in mind, if you bring in other chairs, so that this particular one blends in, becomes indistinguishable from all these other chairs that are not that particular one, then there is no difference between this chair and the chairs that are not that one. Correct? And what happens if you bring in sofas and TV-sets and tables and carpets? The chair is still there but it is indistinguishable from all these things that it is not. Correct?
So what about the chair now?

The chair equals a boat! Interesting!

Let's try this!:

X = Y
X = not Y
NotX = Y
NotX = notY

What is everything that is not the chair? Where is the chair not, that is everything else? :ask:

Let's take a chair. How do you know what a chair is unless you know what a chair is not?
That would imply that one needs to know everything in order to know what a chair is.

Not everything, just what a thing is not, which is evrything else that is not that. What you don't know is always bigger than what you know, right?

A chair, like most things, is mostly empty space. :coffee:

:funny: Conservative accuses others of running on feelings. There's no ideology that is as factless as conservatism. It is based primarily on arbitrary morals and fear. :fp:

Show your work that: a) conservative morals are arbitrary as opposed to carefully organized; and b) that liberal morals are in any way any less factless, arbitrary or fearful than you claim conservatism is.
