Yes, strap-on penises create a false sense of biggeness that will lead to confrontations. Men with adequate penises don't need guns to prove anything. Men with tiny penises buy guns and create confrontations. As a matter of public safety, men with tiny penises (or lots of guns, same thing) should automatically be identified as threats to society, and quarantined. It's the only way to be sure.

Gun ownership is a male thing, then? What of women with guns? Are, they overcompensating for loose vaginas?

If 1% of gun owners are law breakers, they sure make a lot of trouble. And though not crimes, what percentage of stand your ground incidents are lethal? I would add those to the undesired confrontations.

Stand your ground is not really a big deal. Stand your ground is just slight modification of the standard defense of self defense. It says that if you have the right of self-defense, you do not have to run away where running away may be a viable option.

The reason this is good should be obvious. As a person being attacked (if you have a right to self defense, you can't be the aggressor) you should not be in a position of having to decide whether some dispassionate observer might assess your split second decision differently from an armchair. The jury is already going to be determining if your exercise of force was reasonable and if indeed you had a reasonable claim of self defense. To convict someone of a crime who had a right to self defense just because someone in a courtroom a year later thinks they should have run away instead makes no sense to me. It would be decidedly unjust to say -- "yeah, Tero was attacked and he certainly had a right to self-defense, but we think he could have run away, so his shooting of his attacker in self defense will put him in pound-me-in-the-ass prison for a while..."

What is wrong with just letting the jury determine if the shooting was in self-defense abd If it was, then exonerate the guy?

I don't really want to meet any of these people.

Jessica: I'm just one little girl in the world.
A real intellectual. And a little girl.

I have better things to do with my time. Like avoid getting shot by duck hunters when I look for winter birds.

Guns are a crutch for people whose lives are wanting of cake.

Remain calm. As it turns out, you can have your cake and shoot it, too.

What do you know about the "average gun carrier?"

Absolutely nothing. You're just pulling this out of your ass.
And you are not? I see mug shots of gun owners on Fox News daily. A guy monopolizes the tv at the gym.

I don't see a lot of smart guys in the mug shots. Send us 100 million gun owner mug shots. We will guess the IQ. Or I'll just guess now: 90.
