I don't agree with you about him seeming weird because he was single. He was just pretty weird - period. He wore persona armor nobody ever seemed to get past. Perhaps this was what he was hiding.

I'm not really disagreeing that he seemed weird. But he's showbiz. I still think, if he had had a wife and family at home, I wouldn't have thought him particularly weird.
It's hard to imagine knowing that, and how you would have viewed him.

Anyway, I thought he was probably gay, so he's actually now less weird than I thought.

I thought the ITV film was crap. One of the main witnesses said she saw him with a 14 year-old girl.
Never mentioned how she could tell her age, just assumed she was right.
And anyway, in many countries, 14 is legal, so it's not on a par with the worst cases of child abuse.
