Right. Just finished Salo. I imagine a modern remake would be something to see. :twitch:

I'd rather make out with Rush Limbaugh than watch another pile of shit that is a Rob Zombie film.

Not exactly...I was thinking more along the lines of better acting, better camerawork and a clearer portrayal of the psychological aspects of the film. I don't think the director or actors did such a great job in that respect.

I've never seen a Rob Zombie film, but I'm dowloading House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects now, just because they were mentioned in this thread.

Incidentally, if a director really wanted to make an OTT horror film, s/he would include a scene of Rush Limbaugh making out. :ani: :|~

Just watched The Human Centipede 2. It wasn't that bad. Mildly humorous. But over all pretty dumb.

Has anyone seen Kill List director's new film? It was shown on Channel 4 last night and had a simultaneous DND/Blu-ray and cinema release.

If you didn't don't bother, it's drivel and I say that as a fan of Wheatley and Jump.

It's like a bad outake of a bad League of Gentlemen skit, filmed in black and white are weird for the sake of it. Still it only cost £300 grand and you can't see where the money went, I'm guessing up nostrils and equipment hire.

I'm slightly annoyed by how bad this was.

Having had both intensely negative and glowingly positive views on this film from people I often agree with, I simply have to watch it! Kill List was so good that I find it hard to credit that there is nothing worthwhile here. I will report back...

It had a couple of genuinely funny parts.
